Johnston Soccer - Senior Photos

senior photos soccer players johnston I'm blessed to be able to photograph high school senior athletes all around the metro Des Moines area and beyond. These four senior girls all happen to be on the Johnston High School Soccer Team. Not only are they super sweet, but they are awesome soccer players! So far the Johnston team is undefeated. All four girls bring leadership, encouragement, and constructive criticism from their experience of playing 4 years of varsity soccer to the team and on the field.

Abby plays center midfield and her strengths are dribbling/keeping the ball, passing/serving through-balls into the forwards, making runs in behind, and keeping the team connected.

Jenna plays fullback (aka outside defender) and her strengths are defending/clearing the ball out of the back, directing plays as she can see the whole field, and playing through balls to mid fields and forwards.

Payton plays forward and her strengths are making runs in behind defenders, connected with midfielder, and dribbling past defenders to score goals.

Emily plays center defender and her strengths are defending/clearing the ball out of the back, directing plays and the formation of the defensive line, heading the ball to clear it or score a goal off a corner kick, and making tackles.

I was able to photograph and create their soccer team poster this year!
